The Waiheke Aprport Open Day was held this year on 1st May from 9am onwards.Rotary Waiheke was there with a Sausage Sizzle, among the exhibits of planes and vintage cars on a lovely, sunny autum day.
Raising funds has been challenging for Rotary with the cancellations of the Onetangi Beach Races and Wharf2Wharf Fun Run, but several hundred dollars was raised on the day which will go toward the annual donation of illustrated dictionaries to all year 4 students at the three primary schools on Waiheke Island.
